BetSid Online Casino Review

BetSid Casino is a UK betting brand with a very localised fanbase. In fact, it was established in the Lancashire region and operates just under a dozen betting shops throughout the North West. It also has an online sportsbook and casino, and it’s the casino that we will focus on here, while paying lip service to the online sportsbook.

BetSid Casino Basics

We cover all kinds of global casinos on this website and it’s rare that we come across one so seemingly limited, but make no mistake about it, while BetSid is best known in Lancashire, the fact that it is online and fully regulated by the UK authorities means it is available nationwide. If you live outside of the North West you may not recognise the name (although it will certainly conjure images of Bet Victor, BetFred, and other eponymous brands) but it’s not the small company that you might have mistaken it for.

In fact, BetSid is owned by the Rigby Group, who have a turnover of £2 billion, is owned by one of Britain’s richest people, and hires over 6,000 people. BetSid Casino is also fully licensed, regulated and audited. So, while you can accuse it of being niche and even obscure, you can’t accuse it of being small or a scam.

BetSid Casino Games and Promotions

BetSid Casino is very clean and well put together. In many ways it reminds us of Fun88 and Bet East as it has that mobile optimised look that somehow still works on desktop. It also uses a similar colour palette.

As far as the games go, BetSid Casino focuses mainly on NetEnt, with a host of classic and modern games. There are also a number of titles from fringe developers like Barcrest (now owned by SG Gaming) and IGT. They have a good selection of slots and table games, and there is an emphasis on more graphically advanced 3D titles, which we like.

We didn’t expect the bonuses to be very impressive, but we were pleasantly surprised. They have a 100% matched deposit bonus of up to £100. Not enough to compete with the likes of Spin Palace or Royal Vegas, but good for a very small and localised brand like this.

Keeping nothing back, I didn't expect to see anything special at a glance but BetSid suprised me. I can't say that this casino is perfect but it's rather good. Lots of games are available, minimalistic design helps to be focused on the game. It ain't a local casino anymore it should be worldwide
