The Best Poker Tournaments in December 2018

The WSOP International Circuit was on of the highlights of December, but the events have all but finished. From the end of November to the first week of December the tour was in Montmartre, a beautiful part of Paris. It then moved to Sydney and came to a close on the 18th.

Not to worry though as you still have time to join the New Years Extravaganza, which is held at the famous Venetian hotel on the 21st of December through to the 7th of January, and there is also a big Christmas Day tournament held at the Borgata in New Jersey.

The day after Christmas Day there is a Fun in the Sun Poker Open event taking place down in Florida in the Hustler Casino, and if you live a little further up north in Connecticut then you can head for the Holiday Hangover Tournament at the Mohegan Sun instead.

Foxwoods, also in CT, has a big event taking place on New Years and there are also big New Year tournaments in Atlantic City.

As for our European readers, there is a Dutch Open Poker Series in Breda, Netherlands, beginning on the 27th of December. And if you’re quick, you may also be able to book a place at the Nordic Poker Championships in Prague.

There are also a great number of Christmas and New Year events held at casinos near and far. So, click onto your local casino’s website to see what they have available and make sure you book your place. This time of year is great for poker tournaments. Everyone is a little merrier and being inside in the warmth playing a game you love while it’s freezing and pitch black outside is a very cozy feeling.

Just make sure you spend some time with family and friends!
