25.012018The Biggest Poker Tournaments to Look Forward to in February 2018
You might expect the end and start of the year to be slow times for poker, with very little in the way of lucrative poker tournaments. But the opposite is actually true and as the calendar gets ever closer to Spring the tournaments are even bigger and better.
What follows is a list of the very best tournaments coming up in February 2018. These are not real money online casino tournaments and the focus is entirely on offline events, but stay tuned as we’ll discuss the big online casino poker tournaments soon as well, including everywhere from Bet365 to PokerStars.
Best Poker Tournaments this Month — February 2018
2018 Aussie Millions (Jan 17 to Feb 5): One of the biggest poker events on the calendar is actually already underway, having started on the 17th of January. But there is still time to book your place and get there for the final tournaments of the event. There is a lot going on here and it doesn't end until Feb 5, so there’s more than enough time if you can make your way to the Crown Casino in Melbourne.
GUKPT London (Jan 28 to Feb 4): This is a smaller tournament, one where hundreds and thousands are won instead of millions. But it is great for up-and-coming players who have smaller budgets. It is hosted by the Grosvenor Casino in London.
US Poker Open (Feb 1 to Feb 11): This event is held at the Aria Resort and Casino in Sin City, one of the hottest events to take place in the gambling capital of the world this month.
WPT Fallsview Poker Classic (Feb 5 to Feb 12): Fallsview Casino Resort plays home to this WPT stop. If you can make it to Canada then you’ll get access to one of the hottest tournaments of the month and you will be able to play just a stone’s throw from Niagara Falls.
GUKPT Manchester (Feb 25 to Mar 4): There are many top UK players that travel to every stop on the GUKPT calendar, but the majority just focus on the ones in their own city. That’s why some of them, including this Manchester stop, get so many entrants. The field will be big at the Grosvenor Casino in Manchester, but the prices will be equally big, so it’s worth it.
