Monopoly Big Event
WMS have a lot of Monopoly games on their roster and some of these are well worth playing. However, we can’t really say the same about Monopoly Big Event. It promises a lot, it has decent graphics and it has the Monopoly name, but that’s about where the plus points end. It’s all downhill from there.

Monopoly Big Event doesn’t feel like a very generous game. Maybe we are just unlucky when we played, but if that’s the case then we are the unluckiest people alive because we went back to this game day after day and we lost on nearly every spin we took.
This 5-reel, 20-payline game does have a progressive win multiplier, but we personally never saw this climb very high. It seems to be a trend for games with multipliers like this to pay out very little and Monopoly Big Event is one of the worst we have seen in that regard.
There is also a locking wild that forms a free spins feature of sorts, but it’s gone before you know it and it’s one of those bonus rounds that will get you excited when it’s triggered, only for you to be left thinking, “Was that it?” a couple of minutes later.
There isn’t much else to get excited about on Monopoly Big Event and even if you do then your excitement will soon turn to anger and frustration as every spin results in a loss and you see your stake dwindling down to nothing.
All in all, this is not a great slot. We love the work that WMS do for the most part and they have created some of the best slots in the industry, but when it comes to these Monopoly title they are prone to dropping the ball and that is what has happened here.
