Tabcorp are a colossal brand in the world of online gambling. If anyone knows how to operate a successful gambling brand it’s them, and they have done a very good job here.
The support is excellent, with live chat, telephone support and email support available at all hours of the day. They also have a great setup, with the betting site using the same layout found on Unibet, 32Red Sport and 888 Sport, and the casino looking similar to the casinos on the aforementioned sites as well.
There are a number of live casino games, plenty of blackjack and roulette games, and if you make the switch to Sun Vegas then you will also find a host of top slots. These include many popular titles by Microgaming and QuickSpin, as well as games by exciting young brands like Yggdrasil, who have launched a selection of great real money online casino slots in recent years, including Easter Island and Legend of the Golden monkey.
There are some games we haven’t seen before too, and considering we have played thousands of slots on hundreds of casinos, this was a surprise. This is an area in which they seriously lag behind, because while their competitors are offering hundreds of pounds in matched deposit bonuses, loyalty schemes that can reward you with all kinds of benefits and no deposit bonuses of up to £20, the best that Sun Casino can do are a few free spins valued at no more than £0.20 each, and some cash-back for big spenders.
There is also a notable lack of 3D slot machines, the type of games currently being produced by NetEnt, BetSoft, SG and many others. There are some interesting titles here, make no mistake about it, but when you lack those big hitting slots and you don’t have the exclusivity licenses found on the likes of Paddy Power and Betfair, then you’re always going to struggle to compete.

This is not a bad online casino, but it’s not a great one either and we fail to see why anyone would choose this over the likes of Spin Palace, Paddy Power, 32Red, and many other top online casinos.
At best Sun Casino are going to tempt a few gambling nomads for some short-term gambling sessions, as well as anyone who is won over by the inclusion of the Sun brand. Although considering the reputation that this newspaper has in the UK, half of the country would sooner throw their money into a wishing well than play on anything connected to it.

I am not really sure that I want to play in Sun casino again. And the reason is clear like the sky. Games. Yes, they have dozen games made by giant developers but it is the end. All other slots made by unknown locals make me feel kind of uncomfortable. I does not mean any mistrust but... you got me, right?

It was a good thing to note that The Sun had finally expanded their services from being a mere gossip and romour monger company to something more useful as providing meaningful entertainment to players. And it was a good thing to try them in our local UK market! I’ll admit that I was impressed mostly by their different promotions and wide variety of games. Very few sites offer an assortment of NetEnt, Playtech and Microgaming slots under one roof. And so far, these three happen to be companies that I mostly play their casino games. I’ll also comment about the withdrawal processing times. While most of the other casinos offer relatively slow processing speeds, I’ll give The Sun Casino a slightly above average rating.
